Responsibilities
- Record client details once a referral is received
- Make initial contact with clients over the phone to assess
- Contact the Money Mentors with client details
- Contact the Money Mentors, passing on information they might find useful
- Refer clients to any other sources of help or support which KingsGate has identified
- Operate within the code of practice, policies and procedures of the service
- Undertake appropriate training
- Attend Money Mentor gatherings

The National Horseracing College seeks to employ an Assistant Equine Yard Supervisor to join its enthusiastic, vibrant, and hardworking team.
As one of only two specialist horseracing colleges in the UK, this third sector provider delivers training for people in both racing and other equine industries. Located in the scenic grounds of a private estate near Doncaster, it achieved Ofsted Grade 2 for overall effectiveness and Grade 1 for both Behaviour and Attitudes and Personal Development in December 2022.
The Assistant Equine Yard Supervisors are responsible for the care and welfare of the horses and assisting the Racing College programme and Equine College Programme Instructor teams with ensuring that the equine facilities are kept in a tidy and safe condition.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience of working with horses and hold a Level 2 diploma in Horse Care as a minimum. A Lantra agricultural tractor driving licence with trailed implements and loader is desirable; however, training will be provided for successful candidates with strong experience who are prepared to work towards these qualifications.
As a successful applicant, you must have a willingness to work with young people who will present challenging behaviours, which at times can be stressful.
Working Hours
Your normal hours of work are 39 per week on average over a two-week period and are variable in accordance with the rota below.

About the role As our Centre Housekeeper, you’ll be much more than a cleaner. You’ll make sure every corner of the Centre, including our family accommodation, is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Key Responsibilities Centre Environment & Housekeeping • Carry out all cleaning duties before and during activities within the Centre to a consistently high standard. • Maintain laundry, linen and kitchen areas, ensuring regular washing and stock rotation. • Ensure safe and economic use of cleaning materials and equipment; assist with ordering cleaning supplies and maintaining stock levels. • Take pride in creating a warm, tidy, and welcoming environment for families, visitors and staff. • Support volunteers assisting with household and hospitality duties. • Monitor the centre during sessions, identifying and reporting any areas of concern relating to safety, cleanliness, or family needs. • Adhere to health and safety, safeguarding, and infection control procedures at all times. Hospitality & Front of House • Provide a friendly and reassuring presence to families and visitors. • Welcome guests, offer refreshments, and help create a calm and caring atmosphere. • Support the smooth running of the Centre, including preparing rooms for meetings, activities, or wellbeing sessions. • Occasionally assist with setting up events at the Centre. • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity at all times. Teamwork & Charity Engagement • Work collaboratively with the Family Support and Volunteer Teams. • Attend relevant training, supervision and team meetings. • Support brand or fundraising activities, as directed by your line manager. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our service by offering feedback and ideas. Location: Gateshead, Tyne & Wear and South Tyneside
Salary:
£24,531 per annum.
Full-time role:
37 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm across a 7-day rota).
Key overview:
The Housing First support Worker will be responsible for coordinating and providing a person centred, strength-based support service to create long term sustainable tenancies by empowering individuals increasing independence, and maximising connectivity with the local community.

A day in the life of our Building Maintenance Officer will involve
In this busy role you’ll manage the PPM planner by scheduling and overseeing service visits. You’ll ensure visits happen and reports are received. You’ll oversee remedial PPM works, including reviewing reports, surveying, tendering, and supervising contractors. You’ll act as the first response to maintenance issues by assessing, isolating, and making areas safe. You’ll also carry out general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, decorating, and fixing fixtures and fittings.
You’ll also work to make sure we have a safe and compliant building. Managing fire and water risk assessments, you’ll ensure all actions are reviewed. You’ll carry out regular water management and fire safety checks. You’ll keep hard services records and certifications up to date. You’ll complete routine building inspections and report health and safety risks and hazards.
