About the role
We’re looking for a HR business partnering team co-ordinator who will play a central role in enabling the HR business partnering team and wider people team to deliver against the people plan and organisational priorities.
This role is focused on supporting the HR Advice and overall HR business partnering team with HR project coordination and HR documentation. You will have a good understanding of employment law and manage the HR advice enquires in conjunction with the HR Advice team.
You will provide support in policies and managing HR case work timelines including communication flow, and HR case operational support, ensuring that key initiatives and timelines are tracked, aligned, and delivered effectively.
Key objectives
- A good understanding of employment law and best practice in HR.
- Act as a central coordination point across the HR business partnering team and particularly the Head of HR business partnering, ensuring alignment of priorities and activity.
- Enable smooth delivery of the people plan objectives and projects by supporting oversight of timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Strengthen collaboration across designated projects and workstreams by ensuring information is clear, accessible, and shared in a timely way.
- Support the HR business partnering team to deal with the HR advice email inbox, coordinating HR case documentation, supporting with HR advice related information including job evaluation, file management, consistency in documentation, organising ways of working with the HR manager.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and ways of working.
About you
You’ll be an experienced, people-focused HR professional who has experience in end-to-end management of high-volume casework up to and including dismissal with a particular focus on informal resolution of case.
Essential requirements:
- CIPD level 3 qualification and an understanding of HR/People function
- Experience in HR administration, first line HR advice, project coordination, team support, or operational management.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with managers and colleagues
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable:
- Experience of working in the charity, not-for-profit, or social care sector.
- Experience of delivering people projects or acting as a subject matter expert in a specialist HR area.
