You will join a fantastic team here at our home which CQC rated as Good, where you will be supporting individuals who have learning disabilities with a range of health conditions.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be supporting the individuals with taking medication, eating and drinking, preparing meals, personal care, continence support and also help with our mobility in and out of the home.

About the role
We’re looking for a motivated person to join our professional team of Education Support Workers at our College in Aldeby working 21 hours per week, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 9:15 am-4:15 pm, on a part time, permanent basis.

Sense are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Waking Night Support Worker at our Supported Living service in Selly Park, Birmingham.
This is a permanent role, working 17.5 hours per week. As a Waking Night Support Worker you will receive £13 per hour (inclusive of allowances). Your shift patterns for this role will be as follows: 2 nights on and 6 nights off.
At our 6-bedded service, we support individuals with complex needs, including mobility impairment, learning disabilities and sensory losses. The people we support live a varied and active life and like to be out and about, busy getting on with things.
As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting with personal care needs during the night and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and record keeping.
Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language (BSL) is desirable.

This is a Permanent role, with contracts for either 17.5, 18.5, 20, 20.5 & 37.5 hours per week. As a Support Worker, you will receive £12.50 per hour/ £24,374 per annum FTE.
As a Support Worker, you will be supporting the people live a varied and active life and like to be out and about, busy getting on with things. We have company vehicles to take the people we support to do activities outside of the home.
The shifts are varied and generally include a mixture between 7am- 4.30/5pm, 3.30/4.30pm-10pm on weekdays and 7am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-10pm on weekends. You will be expected to work every other weekend. Flexibility is essential to support the valuable service we provide.

We now have an opportunity for Casual Support Workers to join our Sense College in Rothwell.
Casual posts are more flexible and do not have fixed shifts. The working week operates Monday to Friday, hours are 9.15am-4.15pm.
All of our centres have specially designed facilities and equipment that enhance the learning experience. These include fully equipped multi-sensory rooms and sensory gardens to aid stimulation, mobility and relaxation, assistive learning technology, and sport and leisure facilities.

We are looking for a Female Support Worker to join our supported living service based in Hamworthy, Poole.
For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint a female candidate only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).
We provide support between 7am - 10pm so this role will include a mixture of days, evening, shifts, and possible sleep in shifts. This role does include weekend work (every other weekend.) These 36 hours are split across the 7 days and can differ every week depending on the schedule of activities.
The individual you will support is confident and enthusiastic about going out in the community where they need to be supported on a 2 to 1 basis. They are deafblind and hold a tenancy for their own home.
This individual has a team to support her 24/7 with 6hrs daily 2:1 support for community access + a sleep-in staff member. They communicate with BSL signs, PECs (Pictorial exchange system), photos and gestures, they are a energetic, fun loving person that has a full weekly schedule of activities which include, walks, café visits, trampolining, Cinema, Gateway Club, regular short breaks and holidays is something they enjoy. Also enjoys ad hoc activities like the theatre, themed days out like the winter garden lights in Bournemouth and the fireworks.
You must hold a full UK Drivers license, and be willing to drive a Sense vehicle for this role.

The home is surrounded by the Somerset countryside with links to the major towns of Bristol, Bath and Taunton.
Glastonbury is a lovely vibrant town with lots of attractions, making this an ideal work base for those who like adventure – as do the people we support.
We have permanent Full Time and Part Time roles available, working up to 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are varied across 7 days, include regular sleep ins and can be discussed further at interview.
We are offering an hourly rate from £12.50 with enhanced rates for overtime and annual pay reviews/ rises. A fantastic work environment to develop yourself in the care sector, and even for a first time support worker!
Please note, this role may include regular sleep-in shifts which are paid as an additional allowance. (This means sleeping over at the residence, with the possibility you might have to wake up to provide care in the night.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a kind, respectful approach to supporting individuals in their home environment. They will be keen to support the gentleman with a variety of community tasks. BSL proficiency is a requirement for this role. As a Support Worker, you will be supporting the people live a varied and active life and like to be out and about, busy getting on with things. We have company vehicles to take the people we support to do activities outside of the home.

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our friendly team at our offices in King's Cross, London. This is a full time permanent role, working on a hybrid basis 2-3 days in the office.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of monthly management accounts and supporting the development and tracking of budgets at the UK and country office levels. Key Responsibilities

- Review cash transfer requests from overseas teams, making comments to the Programme Managers, once approved and effected, post journals to reflect the transfers.
- Work alongside the Fundraising and Programmes team based in the UK and globally and assist on funding applications and checking budgets before donor submission.
- Work with Programmes team in producing donor reporting and donor budgets are managed, income and expenditure, debtors/creditors, activity risk and reporting and financial compliance processes relating to the projects are delivered effectively.
About You
- Relevant financial qualification such as AAT and working towards a professional qualification CCAB/CIMA is desirable.
- Proven experience in a Finance environment.
- Experience of assisting with developing and monitoring an annual budget within a multi-cost centre environment.
- Experience of using computerised finance systems such as Infor SunSystems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with key stakeholders, so that objectives are met consistently.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues across the finance department.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week at our Touchbase Pears Basecamp based in Selly Oak, Birmingham. You will join a great team at our day service which offers a lovely warm and caring atmosphere.
Basecamp is for a diverse range of young adults with complex disabilities. Everyone is different, but many of the people that we support have: Sight and hearing impairments or a combination of other challenges, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or autism.
As a Support Worker, you will support our individuals take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. They all enjoy being outdoors and engaging in physical activities. The activities range from arts and wellbeing activities.
You will be working on a 1:1 basis and will follow activity schedules, using resources within Basecamp, as well as enabling service users to access the local community.
The Day Service is open Monday- Friday and the timings are as follows: 08:30am-05:00pm.

We’re looking for reliable and motivated persons to join our professional team of Support Workers at our College Centre based near Peterborough. The successful applicant will work with people who have dual or single sensory impairment, learning disability, and associated physical disabilities. This role will be a permanent, 35 hours per week position working Monday to Friday, 9.15am - 4.15pm.
The role involves providing a person centred approach to meet communication, information and mobility needs through the development of learning plans to reduce the isolation of people through community involvement and support in a range of activities.
As a Support Worker you will support people to be as involved as possible in every part of their day to day lives so that they can be full and active members of society. You will work closely with learners to achieve the long term goals identified in their Individual Learning Plans and or social care programmes . Supporting people with their personal care is a requirement of this role. No previous experience or qualifications needed for this post as full training will be given.
