About the Role
We’re looking for Shared Lives Panel Volunteers to join our panel and help ensure Shared Lives carers meet Ategi’s high standards.
As a panel volunteer, you’ll review carer assessment and re-approval documents, take part in online panel meetings, and contribute your professional judgement to support fair, consistent decision-making. You’ll work alongside Ategi staff and fellow panel members in a respectful, collaborative environment.
This role plays a vital part in safeguarding and quality assurance within Shared Lives.

Clinical Future Leaders Fellowship, NIHR

We are working closely with the Medical Research Council (MRC), Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to grow clinical research capacity and improve career paths through the aligned Clinical Future Leaders Fellowship (FLF).
The first NIHR Clinical FLF opportunity represents a coordinated cross funder initiative to strengthen support for clinical academic careers, in response to the findings of the reports commissioned by the Office for Strategic Co-ordination of Health Research. It is therefore open to health and care professionals, as defined by NIHR, doctors and dentists. We will be looking at developing these opportunities to include social workers and researchers from other non-clinical professions.
If you are a senior postdoctoral clinical academic, you can apply to undertake funded research and a bespoke training and leadership development programme.
The seven-year award will provide you with protected research time and leadership development opportunities. It will enable you to transition from postdoctoral researcher to research leadership roles.
We offer Clinical FLFs in partnership with contracting organisations. To apply, your contracting organisation must nominate you and commit to providing significant support. The support offered by your contracting organisation must include:
- contributing to tapered salary costs throughout the fellowship

Originally established in 1441 to educate the 16 boy choristers of King’s College Choir, the School now caters for more than 400 boys and girls aged 4 – 13 following the traditional Preparatory model. We have approximately 40 boy and girl boarders, including our choristers; we offer full boarding, weekly and flexi-boarding. King’s pupils continue their education at leading independent and state senior schools, often with scholarships. King’s is a vibrant and exciting place to teach. Outside the classroom there are many activities and teaching staff are expected to take an interest in all aspects of School life. All members of staff contribute to extra-curricular activities outside lesson time. Teaching staff are also expected to play a full part in general School duties. Page 1 of 5 Person Specification The person appointed will demonstrate a particular interest in working with children in education. Good oral and written standards will be expected, as well as efficient administrative skills. A sense of humour, the ability to remain calm in challenging situations, and excellent interpersonal skills are all essential. The ability to work as part of a team is crucial. The Role Gap Students work closely with many different areas of the School including Pre-Prep, Games, Music and the Boarding House. The successful candidate will take an enthusiastic and responsible approach to all duties. Gap Students follow a detailed duty rota which includes, but is not limited to, the following: Key Responsibilities • Assisting members of staff with the delivery of lessons or activities throughout the School; • Providing support to staff and supervision of pupils on educational visits or residential trips; helping with themed learning days on site; • Monitoring pupils’ behaviour and social interactions during breaktimes and lunchtime; encouraging inclusion and managing games to promote fairness; Page 2 of 5 • Helping the School Office with administrative tasks such as checking the register at the start of each school day, as well as other tasks deemed appropriate; • Supporting Games staff with Games lessons / fixtures; this may include accompanying sports teams to away matches; and • Helping supervise the boarders after school, in the evenings and at weekends (by rota); this may include assisting with activities, leading town trips with a small group, sitting with boarders at mealtimes and encouraging good table manners and helping with bedtimes. In working with pupils, Gap students are also expected: • To take responsibility for the care and wellbeing of all pupils in their care. • To know, demonstrate and promote the King’s ethos. • To be sensitive to social relationships between children. • To be aware of pupils’ concerns and be sensitive to these in practice. • To be proactive in reporting concerns about a pupil either to the appropriate member of staff or through the relevant reporting process. • To be familiar with all relevant School policies and procedures such as the School’s Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, Policy for Good Discipline and Anti-Bullying Policy. • To understa...

The Role:
We are looking for a motivated and friendly part-time Sales Assistant to support our Shop Manager and team in the effective running of our busy shop. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:

- Steam and price clothing items
- Create eye-catching shop displays
- Handle cash and operate the till

The Candidate:

We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Team and support in the provision of professional medicines management across the Hospital and to participate in the work of the dispensary. The team ensures a high level of professional pharmacy practice at all times in accordance with standards, to ensure patients and staff receive assistance in a timely manner, liaising efficiently with medical and other hospital staff.
Some of the duties of the role will include:
- Counsel patients regarding their medication regimes in order to ensure complete patient understanding, including benefits of their medication and possible side effects. These may be patients with certain barriers, e.g. hearing problems, language issues.
- Deal with queries from patients and other hospital staff, referring complex issues to the relevant pharmacist or other relevant hospital staff, such as departmental head.
- Maintain high quality of data input of patient information into the pharmacy computer system in order to ensure excellent labelling standards for dispensed medicines.
- Assist with the implementation and build of MEDITECH Expanse, ensuring accurate entry of formulary items, validation of data, and supporting pharmacists in testing system workflows prior to go-live.
- Agree stock medicines with departmental leads and ensure stock levels of all products are accurate and support the appropriate ordering of stock through liaison with the Chief Pharmacist.
