We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with a keen passion for cooking or baking. Based within our Ridgepark service in Lanark, you will work within a small team to provide nutritious meals for the individuals we support.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a number of cooking activities, including planning healthy and varied menus (carefully considering special diets), preparing a full range of meals for supported individuals, organise the serving of meals and ensuring the kitchen preparation and storage areas are maintained to a clean and hygienic standard.

The post holder will deliver activities on the Foundation’s Premier League Inspires (in secondary schools), Premier League Kicks (in community-based youth club settings) and GOALS: Gain Opportunities and Life Skills (in HMP New Hall) programmes. This new permanent post comes at an exciting juncture for the Conway Hall Library and Archives, as we work towards modernising our systems and improving our engagement with our collections. The Archivist will work closely with the Librarian and Head of Programmes to maximise the benefit of the archives, and achieve the best practice in collection care, management and engagement.
The Archivist’s primary role will be to lead on professional management and use of the archives, including active cataloguing and physical handling. Person Specification
Essential experience
- A recognised professional archive qualification
- Experience of cataloguing archives on digital platforms to recognised sectoral standards
- Experience of providing advice on and access to archival resources
- Experience in creating public engagement materials from archive resources (e.g. blogs, articles, presentations)
- Experience of working with colleagues and partners to promote use of archive resources
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite

- Experience of migrating cataloguing records and digital data between platforms
- An interest in the history of freethought, secularism and humanism

St Mungo’s is a leading homelessness charity with a clear purpose: to end homelessness and rebuild lives. As homelessness continues to rise—with close to 5,000 people sleeping rough across England every night and over 80,000 households at risk—our work is more vital than ever.
We deliver services that help people move away from the streets, provide accommodation for those who have found themselves homeless, and offer support to help people recover from homelessness for good. As part of our ongoing succession planning, we are seeking to appoint a Coopted Member – People Committee to bring additional senior People and Culture expertise to the Committee.
As a Committee member, you will contribute to strategic oversight of organisational culture, people policies, workforce planning, equity, diversity and inclusion, and organisational development. You will work closely with Trustees, the Chief People Officer and Executive Team, helping us to continuously improve and ensure our people practices support our mission to end homelessness.
This is a valuable opportunity for someone who wants to use their professional expertise to support good governance, constructive challenge and fresh thinking at a strategic level.
You will bring:
• Senior professional experience in HR/People leadership (including culture, organisational design and development, ED&I, employee relations and related areas)
• A proven track record of developing and implementing People/HR strategy and delivering positive culture change
• An outstanding commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion
• An inclusive, collaborative approach and a genuine passion for our purpose

This is a voluntary, unremunerated nonexecutive position. Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
Time commitment is approximately 3 hours per Quarter, including preparation and attendance at quarterly People Committee meetings, which usually take place online.

This is a part-time role working a minimum of 12 hours per week from March to October, and then switching to a zero-hour contract from November to February.
As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will help to prepare food and drinks from the best of regional and local produce at Framlingham Castle working as part of a team to support the day-to-day operations. Duties may vary depending on the day, but you can expect to be:
- Taking and preparing food and drink orders
- Assisting with food preparation in our kitchen
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Ensuring a perfect standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout
- Providing support during our events
About You
To be a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will:
- understand what makes excellent customer service and enjoy delivering this to our customers
- be able to engage in a positive way with people from all backgrounds
- enjoy working as a team
Experience of working in a food and beverage role and an awareness of food safety and allergens would help but it isn't essential as full training will be provided. For us, it's more important that you have bags of enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.

Framlingham Castle's spectacular walls are more than 10m high, studded with 13 strong towers. Raised in the 1190's, they proclaim the power and status of the earls and dukes of Norfolk who owned the fortress for over four centuries. The castle is surrounded by the pretty market town, parkland, the castles outer earthworks and the Mere, the lake which mirrors the fortress walls. The castle house both the very richest and the very poorest over the centuries. You'll discover the defiant Bigods and scheming Howards of Tudor time, who wielded almost king like power and later, in complete contrast, the castle sheltered a workhouse for the local poor.
