Youthscape Regional Partnerships Officer (South and South West England)

Youthscape are looking for someone who can initiate strong relationships and build effective partnerships with churches and dioceses, to support the scaling up and implementation of three streams of work – Launchpad, Youthscape Essentials, and Resources.

The Regional Partnerships Officer (RPO) will ensure the smooth implementation of Launchpad, Youthscape Essentials and Resources across their particular region, in this case, South and South West from Truro to Canterbury, and help shape the future of youth ministry locally and nationally by enabling quality delivery and strategic growth.

The RPO will play a critical role in the National Church Training Team as we build capacity, enable growth, and maintain the quality of these successful initiatives in partnership with dioceses and churches across the region.

Person Specification

Are you passionate about reimagining youth ministry in local churches?

Do you bring extensive experience in youth work, an understanding of the challenges facing churches, and a vision and sense of hope with key skills to enable strategic change?

Do you thrive within a multi-functional team, working with others towards an exciting and significant set of outcomes?

Do you want to see the Church across England grow younger, drawing young people into the wider life of the church and supporting church leaders to impact the next generation?

There is a genuine occupational requirement that this post-holder be a practicing Christian.

As all Youthscape posts involve some contact with or has access to young people and/or their records, we will require an enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau for the successful candidate.
