Coaching: 2 weekday training sessions (Mondays 6.30-10.30pm & Fridays 7.30-9am) With Wednesday afternoon match support for teams competing in BUCS. Based at Centre for Sport Sports Hall and away fixtures on Wednesday afternoons. Pre-season running between Mon 7th September and Saturday 19th September with additional coaching support for trials and selection required. Regular term time coaching delivery from Monday 14th September to Friday 18th December 2026 for term 1 and between Monday January 4th and Friday 19th April 2027 for term 2, dependent on return of post holder. Pay: £25 per hour, up to 6 hours per week plus fixtures Description of Services: As lead Netball coach and 1st team coach you’ll use your expertise to: Delivery of training sessions and attendance at competition fixtures on selected dates with informed coaching in line with England Netball principles. Assess players at entry point and throughout the season, providing ongoing feedback to players to improve their play and performance level. Design and deliver planned sessions that meet the needs of the participants, are progressive and develop their skills with agreed learning outcomes. Maintain appropriate records of your participants’ progress Work in partnership with Assistant Netball Coaches to provide overall direction, coach development and mentorship. Engage with coach education opportunities at UWE if desired You must attend the Coaches Induction at the start of the year (or watch the recording), read and make yourself familiar with the Coaches Handbook and understand UWE policies and procedures, including adhering to finance timescales regarding invoicing. Please note you must provide a like for like replacement if you are unable to attend a session.
