SWIMMING TEACHER

(Rydal Penrhos Swim Academy)

Rydal Penrhos School is looking for a qualified and experienced Swimming Teacher to join our team on Saturdays from September. You will deliver safe, high-quality swimming lessons following the Swim Wales Waves standards to children, helping them build confidence and develop essential water skills.

Duties

• Plan and deliver structured swimming lessons in line with recognised standards

Create a positive and supportive learning environment

Ensure a safe and secure environment for pool users

• Attend training and development sessions to ensure Health & Safety competence

Deliver the highest standard of customer service

Essential Requirements

• Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (STA/ASA)

Minimum two years’ experience teaching children

A genuine passion for teaching and working with children

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Requirements (non-essential)

Safety Rescue Award for Teachers (NRASTC) or similar

National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)

Hours

Saturdays 1.30pm to 6.00pm, term time only
