General Painter / Decorator Location: Rydal Penrhos School Job Type: Part-time Hours: 3 days per week (flexibility available) Rydal Penrhos School is seeking a reliable and skilled General Painter and Decorator to join our Estates and Facilities team on a flexible, part-time basis (3 days per week). This role is ideal for an experienced decorator looking for steady, flexible work within a friendly and supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities • Internal and external painting and decorating across the school estate • Preparation work including sanding, filling, and making good • Maintaining high standards of finish in classrooms, boarding houses, offices, and communal areas • Working safely and tidily within an active school environment • Liaising with the Estates Team to plan and prioritise works The Successful Candidate will • Have proven experience as a painter and decorator • Take pride in high-quality workmanship and attention to detail • Be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently • Be flexible and willing to adapt to school needs and term-time priorities • Have a positive and professional approach when working around pupils and staff Hours and Contract • Part-time: 3 days per week (flexible days by agreement) • Term-time focused, with some holiday work available by arrangement To apply, please submit a brief CV and expression of interest to the school.
