Looking for a role where your days are active, varied, and genuinely meaningful?

At Sense, we’re looking for compassionate, enthusiastic Support Workers to join our CQC Outstanding service in Margate

£13 per hour | 37.5 hours per week (various shift patterns including weekends only, part time and full time opportunities available) | Permanent

You must hold a full UK manual driving licence and be willing to drive a Sense vehicle to support people to access the community, attend activities, and enjoy the things they love.

At Sense in Margate, this opportunity offers far more than a typical support role – it’s about being part of everyday moments that bring job, independence, and purpose to the people we support.

What Our Team Says
“I feel so privileged to have this job and would love other people to have the same chance as me. I wouldn’t have applied as I considered myself inexperienced and underqualified, however I’m so pleased I took the plunge. I work with an amazingly supportive team and support amazing people. Job satisfaction 100%.”

About our home:

Life here is vibrant and community focused. You will be supporting four individuals to enjoy full, active lives from relaxed afternoons by the beach to supporting visits to Canterbury, theme parks, London for exciting day trips, joining in with swimming sessions, social evenings and trips to local clubs.

The people we support take part in meaningful work experiences, volunteering at community church, working in charity shops and gardening. You will enhance their experience with your support.

Even in quieter winter months, there’s always something engaging happening – creative indoor activities like cooking, baking, and hands-on experiments that keep everyone involved and inspired.

This role is about supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives. Alongside fun and social activities, you’ll also be involved in day-to-day support such as personal care, medication, cooking, and maintaining a comfortable home environment.

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need previous experience as we provide full training. What matters most is your attitude and values. We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • Positive, with a can-do attitude
  • Caring and empathetic
  • Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives
  • A supportive team player who can help coach others
  • Willing to attend training and develop in your role
  • A confident driver with a full UK manual licence
