Salary: £32,985 - £57,181 per annum

Monday – Friday | 37.5hrs per week | Permanent

At St Elizabeth’s Centre, we are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech & Language Therapist to join our specialist therapy team. We welcome applications from clinicians suitable for Band 5, 6, or 7 level roles, depending on experience and expertise.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative setting where you can make a genuine difference to the lives of children, young people, and adults with complex communication and neurological needs.

About the Role

You will provide assessment, intervention, and support for individuals with a wide range of communication and swallowing needs, working as part of a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.

Depending on your experience and banding, you may:

  • Manage and prioritise a clinical caseload
  • Deliver specialist assessments and therapy programmes
  • Support individuals with speech, language, communication, and/or dysphagia needs
  • Develop communication strategies and personalised intervention plans
  • Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, PBS Practitioners, Education, and Care teams
  • Provide advice, training, and support to families and staff teams
  • Contribute to EHCP reviews, clinical reports, and multidisciplinary planning
  • Support service development and contribute to evidence-based practice
  • Provide supervision and leadership support (Band 7 level)

About You

We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate therapists who are committed to delivering person-centred care and developing their clinical expertise.

  • Degree in Speech & Language Therapy
  • HCPC registration (or pending registration for Band 5 applicants)
  • Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
