About The Role:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team supporting children and young people.
In this rewarding role, you will support vulnerable young people to achieve positive outcomes, develop independence, and feel safe, valued, and empowered. You’ll also play a key leadership role within the team, helping to guide and support colleagues in delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support tailored to individual needs
- Promote the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of children and young people
- Act as a role model and mentor to support staff
- Support with care planning, risk assessments, and reviews
- Build positive relationships with young people, families, and external agencies
- Assist in managing shifts and leading practice on a day-to-day basis
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and reports
- Encourage independence, life skills, and positive behaviour
