Up to £65,000Permanent / Full TimeStevenage with Hybrid Working

At the IET, making our world a better place starts by creating a better place for our people.

At the IET you’ll have more than just a job. Our work is exciting and challenging, connecting the people who solve the problems that matter. It means working with us has real meaning and impact, and you’ll grow – professionally and personally – in ways you never thought possible.

We’re also making significant investments in our people, including providing a modern, vibrant workplace and embracing hybrid working.

What you'll be doing

As our Senior CRM Power Platform Technical Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping, developing and supporting the IET’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environment.

Working closely with the CRM Power Platform Manager and stakeholders across the IET, you’ll help design and deliver reliable, scalable, and user-focused CRM solutions that support critical business operations. From solution architecture and integrations through to automation and optimisation, you’ll be involved in a wide range of technical projects and continuous improvement activity.

This is a role that combines hands-on technical delivery with stakeholder engagement and technical leadership. You’ll work with colleagues to understand business needs, translate requirements into effective solutions, and help drive best practice across CRM and Power Platform development.

You’ll also support the ongoing evolution of our platforms; identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance automation, strengthen data quality, and make better use of emerging Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities.

We know great people don’t always tick every box. While this is a senior role, we’re also open to someone stepping up from a mid-level position who brings strong technical foundations, curiosity, ownership, and the ambition to grow into a broader technical leadership/SME role over time.

Alongside technical expertise, this role offers the opportunity to influence how platforms are used across the IET, work on varied and meaningful projects, and continue developing your skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.

What we hope you can bring to the role

We’re looking for someone with strong experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, particularly within Sales Enterprise and Customer Insights, who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.

You’ll be confident working across both technical delivery and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and work collaboratively with colleagues at different levels of the IET.

Strong experience with Dynamics 365 configuration, Dataverse, and Power Platform development will be important, alongside knowledge of integrations, automation, and data management. You’ll also bring a proactive mindset and enjoy identifying opportunities to improve processes, performance and user experience.

You may already be operating in a senior technical role, or you could be looking for the next step in your career and ready to take on greater ownership and technical leadership responsibilities. Either way, you’ll be someone who enjoys learning, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Most importantly, you’ll combine strong technical capability with a collaborative and customer-focused approach; someone who takes pride in delivering reliable solutions while helping others get the most from the platform.

A little more about what we’re looking for

  • Strong experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience configuring Dynamics 365 modules, workflows, forms, dashboards, and business rules.
  • Good knowledge of Dataverse, integrations, APIs, and automation tools.
  • Experience with SQL, FetchXML, and working with complex data sets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach and confidence working across multiple teams and projects.
  • Power Platform or Dynamics 365 certifications (such as PL-200) would be beneficial.
  • Experience supporting technical leadership, governance, or best practice would be advantageous.
