Do you take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and notice the small details others might miss? Do you enjoy practical, hands-on work and being active throughout the day? Are you looking for part-time hours?

We are looking for a part-time Residential Housekeeper to help create clean, comfortable and welcoming homes for artists, creatives and staff staying in RSC accommodation, ensuring they can focus fully on their work both on and off stage.

Reporting to the Head of Residential Accommodation and Commercial Leases, key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):

  • Carrying out daily and reactive cleaning across residential properties, including flats, cottages, rooms, communal areas and serviced accommodation.
  • Preparing accommodation for arrivals, including bed making, linen changes and same-day turnarounds.
  • Managing laundry and linen, including washing, drying, ironing and distribution/collection.
  • Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of cleaning materials and placing orders.
  • Completing compliance and PPM tasks such as fire safety checks, flushing and meter readings.
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance issues to ensure properties remain safe and well maintained.

To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following knowledge and experience:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar hands-on cleaning role
  • Physical fitness and stamina for an active role.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistently high standards
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively across multiple properties
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive, flexible and customer-focused approach

This is a part time, permanent position based in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will be working 25 hours per week, Monday 9-2.30pm, Thursday's and Friday's 9-5pm and Sundays 9.30-2.30pm. This is a hands-on, site-based role with flexibility required to support busy periods and same-day property turnarounds.
