Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:15 - 16:15 (30 min early finish on a Friday)Contract Type: PermanentSalary: £25,877.80 - £34,240

About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Recovery Coordinator to join our team, supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse throughout their recovery journey.
As a Recovery Coordinator, you will manage a caseload of service users, delivering person-centred recovery planning, care coordination and ongoing support. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies, family members and significant others to help individuals achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
The role involves supporting service users across all stages of recovery, from initial engagement and assessment through to structured treatment and sustained recovery.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a caseload of service users, developing, implementing and reviewing tailored recovery and treatment plans.
- Complete triage, screening and comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and risks.
- Deliver effective key working sessions and evidence-based interventions to support recovery goals.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated support and promote positive outcomes.
- Support service users to progress from engagement through structured treatment and into sustained recovery.
- Build positive, professional relationships with service users, families and other professionals where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and harm reduction at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- A relevant professional qualification such as addiction studies, counselling, social work or a therapeutic qualification is desirable.
- Experience working with individuals affected by substance misuse and complex needs.
- Knowledge and understanding of recovery-focused approaches and interventions.
- Ability to deliver interventions including: Motivational Interviewing (MI), Psychosocial Interventions (PSIs), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), ITEP (International Treatment Effectiveness Project)
- Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- A compassionate, non-judgemental and person-centred approach.
