Project Officer (Capacity Building)
We are growing our Capacity Building team and we’re looking for someone who is passionate about strengthening the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector in Stoke‑on‑Trent.
In this role, you’ll work directly with VCSE organisations to help them build their sustainability, confidence and impact. You will provide practical, responsive and values‑led capacity building support across governance, compliance, funding, organisational development and partnership working. You’ll help organisations identify their strengths and challenges, support action planning, and promote good practice across the sector.
A key part of the role also involves contributing to VAST’s Research, Evaluation and Network Development (REND) work. This includes supporting engagement with VCSE organisations to gather insight, lived experience and evidence and helping ensure community voices shape local understanding.

Salary
£25,000 – £29,000 pa
