About The Role

Are you passionate about making a lasting difference to the lives of vulnerable adults?

We are looking for a Progression Coach in Bristol to join the team redesigning our skills and progression programme, to make it accessible to more clients and better suited to support clients to successfully move on from homelessness and rebuild their lives for good. We are at an exciting stage, where funding has been allocated to a testing phase which will enable us to further hone the small-scall delivery models developed based on the review findings.

Progression Coaches play a key role in developing and delivering the new skills and progression programme. Using the Progression toolkit that is in development as part of the project, you will deliver independent living skills support on a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups, by going into assigned services and working from a Local Learning Hub (New Street in Bristol). The role also involves supporting clients in accessing external learning and training opportunities.

Although a driving licence is not essential for this role, you will be expected to travel between various locations in Bristol.

About you

We are looking for an individual with a growth-led mindset, can-do attitude and interest in service improvement to help us test and deliver a new progression coaching framework, which includes supervising 1-2 peer volunteers, and supporting the development of learning resources for staff and clients around independent living skills.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-moving service design project and getting to grips with the continuous cycle of research/testing/iteration which underpins innovation.

St Mungo's are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We strongly encourage applications from all under-represented groups.
