Prep School Music Administrator

Wells Cathedral Prep School is seeking an organised and proactive Music Department Administrator to support the busy Prep School Music and Performing Arts department.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage daily music-related communications, acting as the first point of contact for queries about lessons and liaising with staff as needed. The role includes coordinating music lesson administration, maintaining chaperoning timetables, and supporting the scheduling of music practice for choristers and specialists.
You will assist with the organisation of performances and events, including communication with parents and logistical arrangements. The role also involves supporting LAMDA drama lessons and exams, as well as coordinating ABRSM and Trinity instrumental exams.
Additional duties include ordering music and equipment, processing invoices, monitoring inboxes, and providing general administrative support across the Music and Expressive Arts departments.
About You
You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills are essential, and previous administrative experience is required.
