Night Care Team Worker

We are looking for a passionate individual to work within the Care Team in our Glasgow Residential. You will be responsible for the evening and nights in the therapeutic programme, ensuring an effective and high-quality programme is delivered.

You will be responsible with co-ordinating residents' tasks and activities, administering medication, H&S checks, and providing waking night cover, ensuring that risk is monitored and minimised. You will assist the residents to prepare for their daily programme and activities.

The Role

As a Night Care Worker, you will support individuals at night in the residential rehabilitation programme to achieve outcomes that help create long-term recovery. Using the Therapeutic Community “community as method” model you will empower individuals, families and communities to be confident about recovery.

You will support the evening running of the therapeutic community, ensuring residents needs are met and the best possible care is provided in an environment that promotes a culture of recovery in line with a recovery orientated system of care and the Quality Principles.

Whilst also being confident to deliver activities and specialised interventions in accordance with the TC manual and the needs of the service.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, on a rota basis. Shifts are expected to be 8pm to 8.30am and consist of 3 shifts per week.
