Music Engagement Officer

Are you an enthusiastic and passionate music educator? We are looking for an individual to support music programmes and progression across the city, fuelled by their passion and skill on their specific instrument(s).

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Experienced in music education, with a high level specialism in one area and knowledgeable of a music education hub
• Have the ability to generate relationships with schools and stakeholders to expand the delivery of music education across the city and inspire the next generation musicians
• Deliver and lead sessions in their musical area of expertise
• Confident to teach to whole class groups in instrumental and curriculum lessons and/or deliver SEND specific work.
• Deliver and co-ordinate projects and events both inside and outside of the school day and are flexible to work evenings and weekends across the whole year.
