Marketing and Communications Executive

This is a content and PR focused role.

Located within Chester’s historic Roman walls, The Queen’s School is a vibrant, forward looking independent day school for girls aged 3–18.

We are seeking a proactive, creative and highly organised Marketing and Communications Executive to elevate the school’s reputation through outstanding organic social media, content creation, and press and media relations.

This role focuses primarily on brand building and reputation enhancing activity – shaping compelling stories, generating positive media coverage, and showcasing the energy, talent and confidence of our pupils, staff and wider Queen’s community. You will own all organic social media and manage day to day PR activity, while collaborating closely with the Marketing, Admissions and Development team on wider marketing campaigns, strategic projects and storytelling opportunities. You’ll work across the school community, surfacing great stories, capturing content, building relationships, and ensuring our communications reflect our brand values and high standards.

You’ll be a confident, creative communicator and content maker who thrives on variety – happily flexing from fun, high energy reels to emotive storytelling and longer form thought leadership, and much more in between!

Why join us?

A key member of a fun and ambitious marketing function, you’ll help shape the school’s public narrative and play a visible role in telling authentic stories that build trust, advocacy and community engagement.
