We are seeking an organised, proactive and relationship focused Co-Curricular and Educational Visits Administrator to play a central role in coordinating the School’s extensive programme of clubs, activities, and educational visits. This is a key position supporting colleagues across the School to ensure that all co-curricular provision and trips are:
- well planned and efficiently administered
- compliant with statutory and school policies
- safely and effectively managed
- clearly communicated to pupils, parents, and staff.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external partners. They will bring strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to improving systems, processes, and record keeping to support an exceptional pupil experience.

Renumeration
The salary offered will be attractive and will reflect the responsibilities of the post as well as the experience of the successful candidate.

We are seeking an outstanding Estates Manager to take strategic and operational leadership of our estate across two city-centre sites. This is a pivotal role for an experienced professional who combines technical expertise with strong people leadership, excellent organisation, and a proactive, solutions focused mindset.
The Estates Manager will ensure that our buildings, grounds, transport operations, and site services are safe, compliant, well maintained, and future ready. Working closely with the Director of Finance and Operations, you will lead the estates, cleaning, and transport teams, oversee statutory compliance, manage contractors and capital works, and drive forward a culture of high standards, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
This is a hands on leadership role with real influence. You will play a central part in shaping the daily experience of pupils, staff, parents, and visitors, ensuring our facilities reflect the ambition and values of a school that consistently ranks among the top performers nationally.

Examination Invigilators
Examination Invigilators (zero-hours contract)
The Queen’s School is an independent day school for girls aged from 3 to 18, set on two separate sites in the historic City of Chester.
The School is looking to recruit new Examination Invigilators to join the existing team to invigilate public examinations starting in the Summer term from Friday 8 May 2026 until Monday 22 June 2026. A training day will be held in April (date to be confirmed).
The Role
We are looking for a well-organised, confident and flexible person who must be punctual and reliable.
No experience is necessary as full training will be given to the successful candidate although prior experience of invigilating or working in a school environment would be desirable.
Remuneration
Pay: Will be in line with National Minimum Wage on a zero-hours, casual basis.
Working Hours
Morning sessions: From 8.30am until approximately 12 noon
Afternoon sessions: From 12.45pm until approximately 4.00pm
