Join our dynamic and growing team as a Lecturer in Games Design and Animation. You will play a key role in delivering our expanding UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Practice (Games Art, Design and Animation), helping to inspire and develop the next generation of creative professionals.

Morley College London is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled professional with expertise in 2D and 3D animation, 3D modelling, and Digital Art. You have a proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons, inspiring students to develop both their creative and technical skills. Your passion for the subject and commitment to student success are evident in your teaching practice.
In this role, you will use your experience to contribute to curriculum planning and the creation of high-quality course materials. You will play an active part in student assessment and feedback, and you are confident in supporting recruitment activities and driving quality enhancement. Your collaborative approach and dedication will help ensure an outstanding learning experience for all students
About you
- A proven ability to deliver engaging, inclusive, and effective teaching that supports students from diverse backgrounds to achieve their full potential
- Current subject knowledge and technical confidence in film and television-related software and equipment
- Valuable stakeholder contacts and established industry links, which would be particularly beneficial to learners by enhancing their educational experience and supporting their progression into further study or employment
- A student-centred approach to learning, assessment, and pastoral support
- Experience contributing meaningfully to curriculum planning, course coordination, assessment, and continuous quality improvement
- Confidence in working collaboratively with colleagues
- The ability to support recruitment and induction activities
- A commitment to maintaining high academic and professional standards across the curriculum area
- A strong commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the learning environment
- A commitment to gain a relevant teacher training qualification
