Incumbent (House for Duty) Weetslade Parish
The Diocese of Newcastle is seeking Incumbent (House for Duty) Weetslade Parish.
Weetslade parish comprises the two villages of Dudley and Burradon situated between the new towns of Killingworth and Cramlington, near the beautiful Northumberland coastline and with good transport links to Newcastle City Centre as well as local amenities in. The two congregations are welcoming and faithfully serving their communities There is a well-appointed Vicarage with a garden, within walking distance of Church of the Good Shepherd in Burradon.
The congregations are seeking a House-for-Duty priest who:
- A people person, able to relate to people of all ages
- Someone who is passionate about Mission, wanting to connect faith with community
- Able to come alongside to support but also offer vision and ideas
- Able to build and communicate a vision for the churches to enable more and different people to experience life in all its fullness.
