- About You
To be successful in this role you should hold:
- A recognised Horticulture & Arboriculture qualification - minimum Level 3 (essential)
- Recent and relevant occupational experience within the Horticulture & Arboriculture industry (essential)
- A1 assessor qualification (or equivalent), or willingness to achieve within first months of employment
- A recognised teaching qualification, or working towards it, is advantageous
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate, timely, and audit-ready documentation
- Experience assessing or tutoring vocational qualifications (highly desirable)
- Ability to meet recruitment targets and sustain caseload
- Strong digital literacy, including use of e‑portfolio systems, virtual learning environments, and online communication tools
- Knowledge of funding and compliance requirements and experience supporting audit and compliance requirements (highly desirable)
We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills and the ability to create great rapport, helping not only to support our learners, but to engage with employers about each learner’s progress, as well as to explore new opportunities. You must be confident in the use of online learning tools, Microsoft office and be confident in delivery of skills & knowledge both in person and remotely.
You will also be highly organised, with demonstrated planning and time-management skills, supported by good IT skills and meet the criteria as laid out in the person specification for the role.

This is a national, remote role where you'll guide apprentices from day one through to qualification — delivering training, assessing competency, and building genuine relationships with learners and employers along the way.
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging training across all Horticulture & Arboriculture components, in person and remotely
- Managing your apprentice caseload end-to-end — sign-up, reviews, EPA, and completion
- Supporting learner attendance, retention, and progression, achieving positive outcomes
- Building strong employer relationships to support learner achievement and unlock new apprenticeship opportunities
- Keeping documentation accurate, timely, and audit-ready
