Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? At Cranstoun, we are a social justice charity with a global ambition: to be a world-class leader in rebuilding lives. We are looking for a keyworker / link worker in the Cranstoun Worcestershire drug and alcohol treatment service who share our values and are ready to support individuals affected by alcohol and/or drug use on their journey to healthier, safer lives.

This is a new partnership role between Cranstoun and St Paul’s Hostel, focused on engaging people who may not otherwise access support. The role will be based primarily within St Paul’s, a trauma-informed 46-bed supported hostel for people experiencing homelessness, as well as across St Paul’s Resettlement properties and move-on clients in the community.

As this is a new post, you will play a key role in establishing and shaping the service, building trusted relationships with clients and across both organisations.

You will lead on delivering interventions and specialist substance use support to St Paul’s clients, providing high-quality support including assessment, engagement support, harm reduction interventions and training to staff. You will work in a flexible, person-centred way, using strong problem-solving skills to support meaningful and sustained change.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role, alongside strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own diary effectively. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.

Above all, you will bring integrity, resilience, and a genuine commitment to making a difference.

For further information please contact Steve Glazzard, Operations Manager, sglazzard@cranstoun.org.uk

These posts will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.

Closing date 31/05/2026, interviews to be held in the week commencing 8 June.

To apply for this role, please submit your CV, along with a Cover Letter outlining your skills, experience, relevant qualifications and values fit for the role to hr@cranstoun.org.uk. Please ensure you clearly state the Job Reference Number on your Cover Letter.
