Do you have experience working within a maintenance environment? Would you like the challenge of being part of a team responsible for our 6.5-acre site?

We are looking for someone to join our estates and facilities team as an Estates and Facilities Assistant. This is a busy role for someone who can carry out planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs across the site.

You will be working within a small team undertaking minor works and carrying out routine checks and inspections of our residential accommodation, commercial buildings and grounds. You will also ensure that accurate records of inspections and completed works are maintained. As part of the team you will ensure that the site remains safe and in good repair for our companions and customers.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working within a maintenance environment (or related field) in either a paid or voluntary role. You will be organised with a tidy, methodical approach to your work. You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. If this sounds like you we’d love to meet you.

If you would like to have an informal conversation about this role, please contact Donna Talbot 07500 338477 or via email: donna.talbot@emmauscambridge.org

Please see the attached job description and person specification below and send your completed application form to jennifer.deacon@emmauscambridge.org by 1pm on 20 May 2026.

Interviews planned for Thursday 28 and Friday 29 May 2026.
