Can you collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to bring campaigns to life?

We are looking for a Digital Campaigns Officer to drive supporter engagement and philanthropic income through creative and data-driven digital campaigns.

Working at the intersection of fundraising, marketing, and the arts, this role develops innovative online campaigns that inspire individuals to give, support, and advocate for the RSC. In this role you will execute digital giving initiatives, online appeals, and supporter journeys that showcase the organisation's artistic vision and charitable mission, and deepen connections with audiences, members, and donors.

Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, key areas of responsibility include (please see the Role Profile for the comprehensive list):

  • Executing and evaluating digital membership and fundraising campaigns to support acquisition, retention, and reactivation
  • Creating compelling digital content across email, social media, video, and paid media in collaboration with internal teams and agencies
  • Managing and growing digital fundraising channels including email, social advertising, and donation platforms
  • Using A/B testing, analytics, and audience insights to optimise campaign performance and supporter journeys
  • Developing and implementing automated digital journeys to nurture supporters and convert engagement into giving
  • Tracking performance, reporting on ROI and key metrics, and using data to inform future strategy

To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following:

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including conversion optimisation, audience segmentation, and user journey design
  • Proven experience with digital channels including social media advertising (Meta, LinkedIn), email marketing, and Google Analytics
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills for digital audiences
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Tessitura, Prospect2) to deliver effective campaigns
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making
  • Experience collaborating with designers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital campaigns

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Stratford-upon-Avon.

You will be working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although occasional evening and weekend work may be required. You will be required to work in the office or on site for a minimum of 3 days per week. Due to the nature of our work, occasional weekend and evening work will be required.

You'll be part of a collaborative and creative team at the heart of a globally recognised theatre company, working to connect audiences and supporters with world-class artistic work.
