About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to join our Criminal Justice team at NTRP. In this rewarding role, you will manage a caseload of individuals involved within the criminal justice system, supporting them throughout their recovery journey from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery and reintegration into the community.
You will work closely with a range of partner agencies including probation services, prisons, safeguarding teams and other community organisations to provide person-centred support and interventions that reduce harm and promote recovery.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where no two days are the same. We are looking for someone who can build positive relationships, work collaboratively and remain resilient when managing complex caseloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate a caseload of service users, developing and reviewing recovery plans and interventions
- Carry out triage, screening and comprehensive assessments
- Deliver one-to-one and group psychosocial interventions
- Work collaboratively with probation, courts, prisons and external agencies
- Complete risk assessments, safeguarding plans and case management documentation
- Support service users to access treatment, recovery and community resources
- Deliver harm reduction interventions and promote recovery-focused outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using online case management systems
- Support prison in-reach and positive community reintegration where required
- Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold Waythrough’s values of kindness, courage and respect
About You
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in substance misuse, criminal justice, mental health, social care or related sectors. Transferable skills and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
You will ideally have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this
- Experience delivering one-to-one or group interventions
- An understanding of recovery-focused and harm reduction approaches
- Strong communication and partnership working skills
- Experience managing risk, safeguarding and complex caseloads
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
