Selwyn College, with a reputation for friendliness and good food, is recruiting for a full-time Chef de Partie to join our catering team to provide maternity cover.
The successful applicant will work with the Head Chef and Deputy Head Chef in consistently producing the highest possible standard of food for our students, staff, Fellows and conference guests, with a brief to introduce innovative dishes to enhance the overall dining experience for our customers.
Applicants should hold (or be working towards) a recognised chef qualification. The ability to work within a team to tight deadlines while providing excellent service at all times will be essential for success in the role. If you have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and are the kind of person who jumps in to help to ensure service is never compromised, we would love to meet you.
Selwyn College is home to students of all backgrounds from the UK and across the world. We are proud of our diversity. We are keen to receive applications from people who may be under-represented in our community.
Our beautiful grounds are generally open to visitors without appointment, so if you would like to have a look around Selwyn prior to submitting your application, you are very welcome to call in at the Porters’ Lodge. If you would like to discuss the role in more detail, please contact us at the email address below and we will be happy to arrange an informal chat with our Head of Catering.
