St Oswald’s is a warm and friendly organisation dedicated to providing compassionate care to those in need. As a Catering Assistant you will play a vital role in helping to create a comforting and welcoming environment for our patients and their families.
You will work as part of St Oswald’s catering team supporting the Chefs in the preparation and provision of attractive and nutritious meals for patients, children, staff, volunteers and visitors. Basic catering experience required.

Due to the nature of this role in a hospice setting, we need to carry out an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) if you are appointed.
This role involves direct contact with vulnerable adults, children, or other at-risk individuals. You will be expected to safeguard and promote the welfare of each child, young person and young adult, maintain an awareness of safeguarding issues and an understanding of standard reporting procedures.
