Job Role

Come and join us in this new and exciting role of Business Admin Apprentice.
This role will play a critical part in the smooth and efficient running of our office.  Working alongside Site Co-Ordinator’s and or Assistant Employment Advisors you’ll provide consistent, courteous support for our office teams.  You’ll oversee a variety of administrative and clerical activities including finance duties.
This role is suitable for someone starting their office-based career. Training will be provided through classroom and on-the-job learning.

Location: Uxbridge full time office based role.

Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting office visitors and signposting them to appropriate people or designated areas.
  • Undertake basic office tasks, such as filing, preparing meeting/training areas and presentation materials, delivering mail and data entry.
  • Handle inbound/outbound phone calls and respond to other message types as required (email, SMS, etc).
  • Coordinating schedules and managing calendars

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience of following processes and procedures, and problem solving
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships
  • IT literate with familiarity of in using a MS Office products and modern digital technologies, i.e. Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to work under direct supervision or as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work in a number of locations if required

Desirable

  • Prior experience of undertaking administrative tasks and or providing customer services
  • Experience of working in a performance culture
  • Experience of delivering services to specific quality standards
