Assistant Stage Manager (Matilda The Musical) (1791)

The RSC is looking for an Assistant Stage Manager to join the team at Matilda The Musical in London.

The appointed candidate would ideally start in mid-July.

An experienced Assistant Stage Manager is required to work within the Stage Management department to ensure the smooth running of performances and rehearsals. Applicants must have an understanding and practical knowledge of the principles and safe working practices in all areas of Stage Management, it is essential that you have professional theatre experience. Previous West End experience is desirable but not essential.

This position is offered as a full time, fixed term contract for 12 months.Please note that Matilda The Musical performs a Tuesday to Sunday schedule, with matinees on Wednesdays and Saturdays and a mid-afternoon performance on a Sunday. There are comeback rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays in a normal week.
