We are looking for a caring, passionate and enthusiastic experienced Band 5 Registered Staff Nurse to join our amazing team.
At our hospice, we provide exceptional care to patients and their families through some of the most challenging times of their lives. We support our patients in our Inpatient Unit, at home plus in our Wellbeing Centre. Our charity specialises in palliative and end of life care for patients with complex and life limiting illnesses who live in North-West Surrey.
We ensure high quality care with great staff to patient ratios, making sure everyone feels cared for and valued. Our warm, clean and homely environment helps patients and families using our services feel safe and comfortable.
In addition to the wonderful environment, we have a keen focus on education and development. Our education team support excellent training sessions taught by our in-house experts. A successful Palliative Care Staff Nurse band 5: will be:

In the years since then BSARCS has grown beyond recognition and in the year 2024/25 we provided specialist therapy, advocacy and support to around 1500 women, men and children who have experienced sexual violence or harm as well as to their relatives. In the same year, we also delivered specialist training courses to over 800 professionals in the borough. BSARCS is governed by a Board of Trustees and currently has around 30 individuals working from our Barnsley premises, including our CEO, Business Support Team, Training & Development Team, Adult Services and Children’s Services. About the role South Yorkshire Sexual Violence Partnership (SYSVP) is made up of four specialist sexual violence partners in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield to deliver a regional ISVA service, commissioned by South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA). Each partner employs Independent Sexual Violence Advocates (ISVA) to deliver advocacy, practical and emotional support to survivors of sexual violence and abuse, both within and outside of the criminal justice system. You will be joining an existing team and will provide high quality support and advocacy to children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse or harm, and to their families, using a trauma informed approach.
