SCHOOL NURSE – Full-time-time, Term time
Salary:  £39,972 - £43,234 (pro rata for term-time)
Actual Salary: £31,977 - £34,587

staff inspire pupils from Nursery through to Senior School to achieve their full potential. At Babington

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated School Nurse to start in February 2026. This is a key role
in promoting the health and wellbeing of pupils and staff across the school.

Responsibilities:

•  Provide medical assistance to pupils and staff as required
•  Act as a source of health expertise within the school community
•
Support the development of health and wellbeing initiatives
•  Be part of the safeguarding team as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)

Requirements:

•  Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid PIN
•  Experience in a similar role, ideally within a school environment
•  A caring, professional approach and excellent communication and organisational skills

The  post  is  for  40  hours  per  week,  Monday  to  Friday  08.30  am  –  16.30  pm,  term  time.    The  hours
include a one hour paid lunch break.
