- Possess a Training or Teaching qualification, or have a willingness to work towards one.
- Comfortable working independently and traveling to various training locations using your own vehicle (travel time given back).
- Have experience in preparing and delivering a range of training courses, with assertiveness in presenting to mixed ability groups.

At Cranstoun, we are always in search of talented and experienced individuals to join our team.
The Birmingham Street Navigator Service works with Birmingham citizens (single adults and/or couples 25 years old or above) with accommodation that are outdoors engaging in ‘street activity’ e.g. rough sleeping, begging, street drinking/drug using and other ‘social activities.
Street Navigators will offer intensive, wraparound support to help citizens back into their accommodation, reducing their level of street-based activity and associated anti-social behaviour, with the overall aim of reintegrating citizens into their local communities and reducing their reliance on the streets.
Street Navigators will recognise that citizens may present with a range of complexities and could be living with traumas that make engagement with ‘traditional’ and ‘mainstream’ services difficult. This requires Street Navigators to provide a trauma-informed, person-centred and relational approach to engagement and the ongoing support offer to the citizen as a means of developing trust and confidence with the service, and to ensure short- and longer-term needs are met.
Street Navigators will work in a multi-agency network including alongside outreach services, Community Safety teams, local BID teams, commissioned/none-commissioned accommodation providers, West Midlands Police and British Transport Police. Street Navigators will also support citizens to access relevant support agencies when ready. This could include health care, substance misuse services, local community services and DWP.
It is important that the service is available to our citizens when it is needed. Therefore, work may be required outside of the conventional working week, and being included in a rota of duties, to ensure that service delivery is available when needed by citizens, including evenings, weekends and on bank holidays, may be expected.

Dragon School has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Operative to join the team.
The Maintenance Operative will be responsible on a daily basis to the Maintenance Manager, and will be line managed by the Head of Estates. The main responsibilities will focus on carrying out maintenance, repairs and general upkeep of the School’s buildings and fabric at both the Prep and Pre-Prep school sites, and across all boarding and residential properties. They are responsible for coordinating and ensuring the works carried out by the Maintenance team is completed to the standard expected by the Dragon, in accordance with the Health and Safety Policy and Guidelines. This includes maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related systems. Where they are competent to do so, they should proactively conduct repairs and renewals in pursuance of this function.

Would you like to support someone new to their caring role who may be struggling ?
Would you like to make a difference to someone’s life ?
If you can commit to 2-3 hours a week/fortnight then please consider becoming a Dementia Volunteer Mentor- sessions will take place via telephone, zoom or email .
The sessions will be goal focused and you will receive specific training around Goal Planning & Problem Solving using a CBT based approach. These will be short to medium term interventions.
Volunteers will also receive mandatory training which includes Safeguarding. Mentor Specific Training, Understanding Dementia, Effective Communication Skills as well as a CSC Induction.
Volunteers will be provided with comprehensive support: Peer Support, regular check-ins with their Volunteer Coordinator and regular access to wellbeing activities.

The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for two PPM Planners to join our established team. In this role, you will support the PPM Team Leader and the wider team by proactively managing performance and compliance relating to Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks and assets across the helpdesk. You will play a key part in ensuring adherence to planned contractual SLAs and KPIs, identifying and escalating issues where necessary, and helping drive timely and effective resolution. In addition, you will support the business in ad-hoc administrative duties associated with Safe Systems of Work, management of planned tasks and building assets

We’re currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Employability Trainer to deliver a variety of training and one to one support to prepare participants for securing sustainable employment.
You’ll facilitate high quality and engaging sessions to participants which develops their employability skills, which will include interview techniques, job application tactics, confidence restoration sessions and identify transferrable skills. You’ll also be responsible for teaching job searches via Linkedin, Facebook and all other Social Media networks as well as ensuring that they have the right equipment.
