Skills and Responsibility
Carry out all the planned procurement activities
To ensure the efficient servicing and maintenance of Oxfam vehicles and generators at base
Support logistics officer to maintain and control assets and equipment

Prepare monthly logistics reports related to your assignments
Carry out routine checks and preventive maintenance to all Oxfam’s vehicles and mechanical equipment.

Technically supervise and train the drivers to improve their overall technical knowledge and skill, working along side them when necessary.
Diagnose vehicle and equipment faults and carry out necessary repairs.
Plan work schedules that give time for repairs in liaison with Programme and logistics officers – priority should be given especially in an area of potential insecurity.
Provide prompt technical reporting on accidents to the Logistics Officer for the immediate consultation with Programme Manager.
Establish and maintain a spare parts store.
Control the order of spare parts and consumables for the fleet of vehicles to ensure a minimum three monthly stock for fast moving parts.
Supervise procurement as required and monitor the Supplies requests specific to Vehicles
Supervise and monitor the arrival of relevant goods and stock in the project area.
Supervise a complete monthly stock check, matching stocks against stock cards, and the production of a monthly stock report.
Provide monthly written reports reflecting details of the following:
Movement and stock levels of spare parts, consumables, tool.- All maintenance and repair activities..
- Spare parts and tools / equipment required.
Educational background & professional qualification
Diploma in Logistics and procurement and Motor Vehicle Mechanics or other similar training
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least three years work experience in vehicle maintenance
Exposure to logistics, particularly stock keeping, dispatch and communications will be desirable

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.
About us
Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice in Cheltenham is Gloucestershire’s only inpatient unit for specialist palliative care. Our community team provide support to patients in their own homes in the Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Gloucester areas.
We support people aged 18 and over who are living with life-limiting conditions such as cancer, heart failure and lung disease by combining specialist medical care for managing pain and other symptoms with other emotional, practical and spiritual support.
We are able to provide care on our inpatient unit, virtually and in person though our community hub and in people’s home though our Hospice at Home service.
About the role
This is a really exciting time to be joining the Community Team at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice. It is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Health care assistant who wants to work in a supportive environment where care of the patients comes first. This role is based within our friendly and supportive Hospice at Home (community team) and involves visiting people in their own homes to provide support to people when they need it most.
Working with our patients and their families in the community requires a holistic approach to ensure the best possible outcomes. Whether in the last months, weeks, or days of life, or living with grief, we help people live the best life they possibly can.
All of our staff work rotational shifts consisting of earlies, lates and nights.
Shift times:
07:30 – 15:30
14:00 – 22:00
20:00 – 07:00

You will:
• Promote choice in the delivery of care and support.
• Review and make suggestions to enhance the service users experience.
• Observe service users’ conditions and report changes.
• Supporting service users to have their views and experiences considered in the way the service is provided and delivered.

In palliative care no day is the same. Working with our Hospice at Home team provides a unique opportunity because we care for patients with such a variety of conditions and symptoms. The Role
Our Food & Beverage Warehouse & Logistics Assistants undertake a variety of warehouse duties. This includes maintaining high internal customer satisfaction levels through excellence in identifying, receiving and ensuring quality of products delivered to and across site. Carrying out warehousing activities, you will be organising storage and inventory space while ensuring the quality and accuracy of all incoming and outgoing stock. You will place all stock orders, receipt and invoice match via our stock management system whilst ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times.

The Package

IT Assistant Job Description (Reference number: IT26000) The IT Assistant is employed by The College of St Mary Magdalen in the University of Oxford (the “College”), and is responsible under them to the Home Bursar. For the performance of their duties, the IT Assistant will report to the IT Manager. The IT Assistant will work as part of a small team and be expected to provide and support IT/AV facilities onsite for Fellows, staff, students and visitors in the College and manage its various IT/AV systems and networks. This is a fast-paced and varied role, requiring excellent customer service skills as well as a broad range of IT/AV knowledge. In line with modern IT, the duties of this post constantly evolve and change in response to the rapid advance of both hardware and software technology, and the growing demands of the user population. A flexible working approach to working hours is required, especially during critical periods.
