As a Supporting People on Probation Navigator, you’ll:
- Walk alongside adult men on probation as they understand their lifestyle, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.
- Help Service Users navigate the consequences of their actions, leave behind harmful relationships, and rebuild positive connections.
- Facilitate group interventions, deliver 1:1 support, attend prison resettlement meetings, and even support community projects like allotments or music sessions.
- Keep excellent records, contribute to enforceable action plans, and work closely with Probation Practitioners.

Activity Instructor - Annualised Hours
Working as part of Nene Park Trust’s Visitor Engagement Team, the role of Activity Instructor will help with the general day to day running of a busy outdoors activity centre. You will also assist and deliver a wide range of outdoors activities and watersports including: sailing, kayaking, open canoeing, archery, climbing, stand up paddling boarding and mountain biking, as well as our pay and play offer.
This role will encompass a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Promote a safe and enjoyable learning environment and encourage repeat business.
- Support the team to deliver activities for schools and other group bookings.
- Ensure the fleet of boats and other craft are well maintained and fit for purpose at all times.
In addition, the ideal candidate will naturally demonstrate the following characteristics:
- A strong communicator, able to communicate effectively and confidently with diverse groups of people
- Able to prepare and deliver engaging training and presentations
- Positive, enthusiastic and customer-focused approach
This role is an annualised hours contract with a minimum of 800 hours spread across year. Your contract end date will be the 31st January 2027, however there may be possible extension available.
The role is based at, Nene Outdoors Watersports and Activity Centre within Ferry Meadows Country Park, Ham Lane, Peterborough, PE2 5UU.
