The role:
- To identify work and supported employment-based goals and support individuals to gain the relevant skills and experience to achieve these goals
- To build substantial relationships with local social enterprises and employers with the aim of developing high quality work experience placements
- To support businesses with implementing reasonable adjustments to improve accessibility to work for people with learning disabilities
- To act as an Ambassador for the Trust at all placements, networking events and in the community
What are we looking for?
- At least 1 years’ experience of working in a coaching/mentoring role or working with a supported employment programme
- A good understanding of assessment and training tools
- Outstanding communication skills for people of all levels
- Must have the ability to inspire and motivate

Flexible shifts over a 24/7 week, 365 days a year (Incl. weekends, bank holidays and sleep in shifts on a rota basis)
Salary – £23,888 per annum based on full-time hours
As a Support Worker, based within our Residential Service located in Lyndhurst, you’ll be engaging directly with those we support, inspiring fun and creativity whilst encouraging independence and allowing individuals to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

The role:
- To support individuals to meet their goals and outcomes in health, wellbeing and independence
- Assist individuals with their personal, social and healthcare needs as required whilst maintaining accurate records
- To work as part of a team as well as lone working within the community as needed
- Work with allocated individuals as their keyworker
- Interact and communicate with the people you support in a way that promotes dignity and respect
- Support individuals with everyday tasks as required
- Supporting individuals to access day opportunities.
What are we looking for?
- Motivated, honest and approachable individuals who are great at building and nurturing relationships
- Aspirations to develop skills at support worker level and beyond!
- Flexibility to work shifts 24/7, 365 days a year including weekends and bank holidays as well as sleep in shifts on a rota basis
- Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential
- A full UK driving licence is essential (in-work travel paid).

Carers Representation Service Coordinator

Are you passionate about amplifying the voices of family carers for people with learning disabilities? Do you believe lived experience should shape the future of local services? If you’re articulate, empathetic, and ready to champion change, this is the role for you.
About the Role:
Your mission? To ensure carers’ experiences are heard, valued, and used to improve services across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
This is a commissioned role with flexible hours, including some evenings and occasional weekends, and the opportunity to work from home.
You’ll work closely with the Learning Disability Partnership Board, supporting carers to attend and input their own views at Strategic and Action groups.
What you’ll do:
- Build collaborative relations with family carers to fully understand their priorities and experiences
- Organise a range of opportunities for families to actively participate in co-production, consultation and feedback, including the monthly online Carers Forum
- Support carers to participate in strategic groups like the Learning Disability Partnership Board, Carers Action Group, and Health Action Group
- Advocate for carers by sharing their lived experiences with BCP Council and NHS partners
- Represent carers in wider strategic discussions and ensure their voices shape local services
- Chair meetings, provide reports and meeting minutes
Who we’re looking for:
- A confident communicator who can speak up for others and build strong relationships
- Someone with flexibility to work across the week, including occasional evenings and weekends
- A self-starter who’s passionate about inclusion, advocacy, co-production and community impact
- Experience with carers or learning disabilities is desirable—but drive, and empathy are essential
