Permanent, Part time – 17.5 hours per week| £25,500 per annum (full time equivalent) | Westmorland and Furness – Kendal
Brathay has secured new funding to deliver Universal and Targeted Early Help group & 121 support to children, young people, and families across Kendal. We are excited to have secured new funding for a 3-year period to deliver activity based learning programmes in groups and 121 mentoring alongside to inspire young people to Build their Brighter Futures.
Together, we will deliver a blend of engaging group activities and one‑to‑one support designed to build emotional wellbeing, resilience and a sense of belonging—helping children, young people and families feel like their Best Selves and Thrive within their communities.
You will be part of Brathay Trust’s vibrant, passionate Communities team, well‑established within Early Help and strongly connected across statutory and voluntary partners.
These roles are part-time, however we expect to be able to increase these roles to full time, should we secure further funding.
0.5fte Practitioner
You will:
- Engage children and young people referred for support
- Design and deliver group programmes that promote wellbeing and resilience
- Provide 1:1 support
- Help prevent escalating needs and reduce pressure on statutory services
- Be part of a supportive, committed team making real impact
- Help develop and shape anevidence‑based and trauma‑informedservice
- Work collaboratively with leading VCS organisations
- Make a meaningful difference to young people and families across Cumbria.
