Reception & Reservations Manager
£29,714 per annum | 40 hours per week | Ambleside
In this dynamic and rewarding role, you'll lead our friendly reception team to provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests. You'll ensure every visitor’s experience is seamless and positive, while also keeping our reception space engaging, organised, and full of energy.
As Reception and Reservations Manager, you'll play a crucial role in driving our venue sales income, working strategically to maximise bookings and develop new client relationships. You'll manage external booking platforms, support the full customer journey from enquiry to contract, and collaborate with our wider teams to meet targets and identify new opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your people skills and commercial mindset in a charity that makes a real difference to young lives.
To excel in this role you'll have
- Proven track record of selling and achieving income targets
- Ability to lead and work as part of a team
- Knowledge and experience of the hospitality/events sector

Mental Health Practitioner
£26,000 per annum | 35 hours per week | Bradford

Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting children and young people to thrive? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Youth Mental Health Practitioner to join our team, working across the Bradford District.
The successful practitioner must be well organised and flexible with a commitment to providing effective therapeutic support to children, young people and their families - empowering them to make a difference in their lives, underpinned by Brathay’s core values.
As one of our Mental Health Practitioners, you'll be responsible for providing emotional health and wellbeing support in locations across Bradford, conducting clinical assessments and signposting to specialist support services.
To excel in this role you'll have
- Level 4 diploma in Counsellingand current registration with BACP
- A postgraduate, professional qualification or significant experience as a children’s workforce practitioner (e.g. qualified teacher, youth worker, social worker, occupational therapist, healthcare practitioner or counsellor
- A current and clean driving licence, for vehicle insurance purposes; you should be at least 21 years of age and have held a full, driving licence for at least one year
- A Safeguarding Level 2 certification
Family Aide Worker
£22,932 per annum (Full-Time-Equivalent) | 30 hours per week | Bradford
Fixed-Term Contract (Until 31st March 2026, with the potential for extension with continued funding).

As one of our Family Aide Workers, you will develop and deliver a range of targeted Early Help services designed to achieve and sustain positive outcomes for families.

To excel in this role you'll have
- Experience working with the diverse needs of children, young people, and families.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide practical support to family members of all ages.
- Knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of statutory and voluntary services.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Technical Team Associates
Associates are key members of our delivery team. You'll help us to deliver impactful residentials for young people from schools, youth groups, apprentices and graduates, as well as meaningful programmes for Executive Leaders.
We work with freelance coaches, facilitators and consultants from all backgrounds who share our values and bring their distinctive style to the organisation.
To excel at Brathay you'll have the following skills:

- Self-motivated, can work on your own initiative
- Eager to provide excellent customer service
- Good problem-solving skills and can remain calm under pressure

Desirable:
- Previous experience of delivering outdoor activity. Our desire is for that experience to be a range of groups from young people to adults.
We're looking for associates with a range of sector specific qualifications:
Essential:
- First Aid Certificate (16 hours)
- PCV/D1 driving licence - For vehicle insurance purposes, ideally you should be at least 21 years of age and have held a full, driving licence for at least one year
- Mountain Leader Award (summer)
- Single Pitch Award or Rock Climbing Instructor
- Paddle sport leader or equivalent BCU or UKCC awards
- Powerboat level 2
Desirable (at least one other higher level NGB from the following):
- Mountain Instructor Award
- Mountain Leader Award (winter)
- An advanced Paddle sport award
- RYA Safety boat or Powerboat Instructor
- Safeguarding level 2
- Trailer licence D1+E
