West Court Night Manager

Jesus College are seeking applications from suitably experienced candidates for the position of West Court Night Manager. This is a hands-on position responsible for managing the hotel reception desk at West Court during the hours of 21:00 to 07:00, welcoming guests to the College and ensuring a smooth check in or check out for guests who are departing early. The West Court Night Manager will provide professional reception, administration and exceptional customer service and safety support . Duties include the planning and preparation of meeting and event space for the following day’s business, involving room setup and/or service, compliance checks, fault reporting and minor maintenance and housekeeping duties. The successful candidate will act as the College’s Fire Warden for West Court providing in-person support for all duties associated with the safety and security of guests during the night-time hours.

It is expected that candidates will have excellent customer service skills and considerable experience in a similar accommodation/hospitality or reservations environment as well as a high level of computer literacy. They should also have knowledge of effective health and safety management strategies and best practice incident reporting, alongside experience of fire safety management.
