Location: The Hollies, New Milton
Hours: 6 hours every other Saturday, 9.30am – 3.30pm
Salary Range: £24,242 to £24,947 pro rata per annum (Solent Mind band A)
Purpose:
To provide wellbeing support to service users at our wellbeing centres and in the community. The role includes delivering a timetable of activities, groups and opportunities to promote wellbeing, foster positive social connections and increase independence.
Principal Accountabilities:
Facilitate activity groups within the centres and community settings.
To engage with service users to identify needs, and plan work accordingly.
To support and encourage participants to identify their own strengths, triggers and life goals.
Share with other Solent Mind staff and other agencies as appropriate information regarding the service users’ wellbeing in line with Solent Mind policies and procedures
To adhere to and support the development of relevant procedures and guidelines as they relate to the service, in particularly raising safeguarding concerns as appropriate.
To complete and understand risk assessments and procedures as appropriate.
To maintain appropriate records of participation and progress, recording on CRM as required
Develop links and maintain good relationships with local community.
To attend team meetings and supervision as required, and complete all training as required.
General:
