Salary: £9,914.19 to £10,125.00 per annum (£24,455 to £24,975 full time equivalent) – Solent Mind Band A

Purpose:
Solent Mind delivers Wellbeing services across Hampshire, including Eastleigh, Winchester, Fareham and Gosport and the New Forest. This post is based mainly in the Eastleigh Wellbeing Centre. The Wellbeing services provide a range of support, including assessments, courses and groups delivered both within the centres and via digital platforms.
The Wellbeing Advisor will be an integral member of the Wellbeing team, providing administrative support and reception facilities which support the delivery of the Wellbeing programme and, when required, to our Primary Care Network staff. They will play a key role in being the point of contact to service users and visitors to the centre. They will monitor incoming enquiries and referrals, make first contacts with people referred, and follow up on information when necessary. They will support the delivery of the wellbeing programme by sending invitations and monitoring waiting lists and utilising a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System. They will ensure information is recorded in an accurate and timely way on a data system.
Principal Accountabilities:
To welcome people into the service, and to create an environment which is both relaxed and purposeful. This may be within the centres, or via digital platforms.
• To respond to service user referrals on the phone, in person, by e-mail and via the website, and to input relevant data on to the systems.
• To make initial contacts with people referred, booking assessments and meetings with their key workers, under guidance from the Co-Ordinator/Manager.
• To signpost appropriately to other agencies who can help meet individuals’ needs.
• To monitor and respond to enquiries and referrals through the Wellbeing inbox.
To check referral information to ensure it is complete and accurate and to alert the Manager/Co-Ordinator to any risk concerns, and proactively seek to obtain relevant information in line with our policies and procedures.
• To monitor referrals and advise the Manager/Co-Ordinator of relevant timescales for action.
• To assist with planning of the course programme and recording of relevant information on the system.
• To plan and prepare course invitations according to waiting lists or guidance from facilitators, update attendances on system, and assist on course sessions as and when required.
• To maintain up-to-date information relating to local community activities and appropriate on-line resources which may help to maintain individuals’ wellbeing.
• To maintain records in line with policies and procedures including entering data electronically.
• To ensure that any income and expenditure is recorded and receipted in accordance with financial procedures and within delegated authority levels.
• To attend relevant meetings, either in person or via MS teams or similar platform, and to feedback relevant information to the Wellbeing Centre Manager and other staff.
• To assist the Co-Ordinator/Manager in keeping updated Health & Safety assessments and records.
• To identify innovative ways of developing and improving the service.
Internal and External Liaison:
• Share appropriate information under Solent Mind’s Confidentiality and Risk Assessment Policy.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with associate organisations which share the building.
• Develop links and maintain good relationships with local community and partners.
• Attend staff meetings and supervision as required, either in person or via MS teams.
General:
• Adhere to the aims, values, policies and procedures of Solent Mind, particularly safeguarding and health & safety.
