About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Supported Housing team as a Weekend Worker. Working 16 hours per month across weekends, you will play an important role in ensuring residents receive consistent support and that the service remains a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide practical and emotional support to residents in line with their support plans.

  • Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for individuals accessing the service.

  • Conduct wellbeing and welfare checks with residents.

  • Support residents to access relevant services, appointments, and community opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in line with organisational policies and procedures.

  • Respond appropriately to incidents, safeguarding concerns, and health and safety issues.

  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to support residents' recovery and progression.

About You

  • Experience of supporting vulnerable adults or individuals with complex needs.

  • Knowledge or understanding of housing support, homelessness, mental health, substance use, or related support services.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and use initiative while maintaining professional boundaries.

  • Good organisational and record-keeping skills.

  • A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

  • A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
