Job Title: Waking Nights Support Worker Location: This is an on-site role at our beautiful location in the village of Market Overton, Rutland. Job Type Part Time – 30 hours per week (Monday to Sunday as per published rota) Salary: £21,367 per annum (Pay Point 7) About us -

Role Purpose To act as an on-call overnight worker to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents, taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency, while working in association with care and support staff to provide a homely and safe setting for all residents. This role requires compliance with the Care Standards for adults with learning disabilities and working in line with the values and policies of The Lodge Trust CIO, particularly the objectives of the house, to support the development of both individual and group needs of the people living there.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of residents throughout the night
- Provide person-centred support, including personal care where required, with dignity and respect
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any incidents or emergencies
- Administer and record medication in line with policies and procedures
- Support residents’ emotional wellbeing and individual needs during the night
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of care
- Carry out domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment
- Accurately record and report information, including night logs and incidents
- Follow Health & Safety procedures, including fire safety and infection control
- Contribute to a positive, calm, and homely atmosphere within the residence
