We are looking for a Volunteer Manager to join our team. The role is full time and permanent. You'll be on a permanent, full time basis, working 36 hours per week.

We offer flexible working arrangements where the role allows. You will be required to attend Stonehenge on a daily basis.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and inspiring volunteer leader to shape and grow our volunteer programme, enhancing both the volunteer experience and the world-class visitor offer at one of the world's most iconic World Heritage Sites.

As Volunteer Manager, you will lead the management, development, and growth of our diverse volunteer team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver an exceptional visitor experience. Working closely with the Deputy Operations Manager - Site, you will design and implement innovative volunteering opportunities that enhance and expand our world-class visitor offer.

You will oversee all aspects of the volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment, training, support, engagement, retention, and recognition, ensuring programmes are delivered effectively, on time, and within budget. You will also identify and develop opportunities to engage with local communities, helping to broaden participation in volunteering, while acting as a passionate advocate for volunteering across English Heritage.
