Volunteer Library Support Assistant (UDC and PHS Reorganisation Project)
The volunteer will support the Librarian in improving the organisation and accessibility of the library’s collections, with a particular focus on updating and standardising the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) across the library and re-organising the collection of the Plastics Historical Society. Tasks may include checking and relabelling books, assisting with shelf‑moves, identifying inconsistencies in existing classifications, and updating existing catalogue records. The role may also involve general library duties such as shelving, locating items, and preparing displays.
Requirements:
· Training will be provided, and no prior cataloguing experience is needed.
· Ability to attend Grantham Office
Time Commitment:
· 4 hours a week on a Monday or Thursday
CV Skills:

· Presenting Displays
