Volunteer Coordinator

Do you have experience working with volunteers? Would you like the challenge of developing and growing our volunteer team?

We are looking for someone to join our operations team as a Volunteer Coordinator.  This is an exciting new role for someone who can ensure our volunteer activities run smoothly on a daily basis whilst growing our team of volunteers.

You will be responsible for volunteer recruitment and developing and delivering a structured induction plan including ongoing training for volunteers. You will manage volunteer rotas to ensure that there are appropriate skills and volunteer levels to support our valued customers and committed companions across our social enterprise and community. You will also support volunteer groups including students and corporate partners.

The ideal candidate will have people management experience in either a paid or voluntary role. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be self-motivated. You will be professional, able to build a positive rapport with people while maintaining professional boundaries. This role will be required to work from the Emmaus Cambridge, which can be found at Landbeach, outside Cambridge and just off the A10 towards Ely If this sounds like you we’d love to meet you.
