Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and well qualified Visiting Drum Teacher to play a key role teaching our Drum pupils across the full ability range, from beginner right the way through to grade 8 and beyond.

The successful candidate will inspire beginners and build up confidence in teenagers to learn Drums for the first time.

They will also work with the most ambitious of music scholars in the school, entering pupils for exams and performances and preparing pieces as appropriate.

Visiting Music Teachers normally teach on the same day(s) each week, but there is the possibility of some flexibility, if necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a good level of education, including GCSEs and A-Levels (or equivalent), together with a degree in Music, alongside an understanding of the ABRSM, Trinity College London and/or RockSchool syllabuses.

Experience with a wide range of musical styles and repertoire, including contemporary and popular music, is equally important.
